Lonstine, Oregon is no booming metropolis but they have the most quaint little coffee shop ever, the Blue Banana. Very friendly barista that offered info on the best hiking trails in the area and makes an excellent mixed berries smoothie. Worth the stop for a drink, info and pics of the unique decor.

Giving it a 5 star because of my name on the road sign and the fun blue VW Bug sticking out the side of the building.and the blue banana that you can take a selfie with...Didn't stop in for coffee but I'm sure you have an amazing assortment of coffee drinks and pastries will definitely come in on the next road.

They are closed on Sundays, after years of going to Wallowa Lake Sunday-Sunday, we FINALLY came through on a different day! Their decor has always interested us. I got a blended chai. It was one of the best blended chai teas I have ever had! Plus the decor is interesting!

Coffee was good, barista was friendly, homemade breakfast burrito.

Great coffee and plenty of tasty treats and nuts to go with them. We stopped here after camping down the road along the Lostine River. I was happy to find a gem like this in such an out-of-the-way place.

Super cool spot! Incredibly sweet owner who makes delicious coffee (you gotta get some of the candied nuts too, both the cashews and pecans are fantastic). We found Blue Banana on Google Maps when we woke up about 40 miles away and waited all morning to get a coffee there - it was definitely the right choice. Support your local businesses! This one is a gem.

Funky little coffee shop up towards Joseph OR!Perfect Americano and yummy Vanilla blended drinks...12oz and 16oz. came to $6.25...in 2019!! What?? Oh and very friendly baristas!

This little coffee shop is unique in its decor. You can't miss it, with a crashed plane and VW Bug in the roof and side of the building. The drinks are great but the service is fantastic.

This place is so cool! The outside looks like something only an artist could dream up, with a blue banana cutout, a plane into the roof, and a vw bug in the wall. Once we got inside the barista was pleasant and helpful, and much to my amusement, you could sit in the vw bug! I got a fruit smoothie and it was very tasty and reasonable price ($5 for a 24oz). Very cool, please stop in to support this original business.
